• In Ahmad, Fifth, p. 4, the name is Sanskritized as Mṛṇāla. He murdered his lover Bhadrā. His story is at the origins of the accounts of the royal lineages of India.
• I believe this is a faulty re-Sanskritization of Mṛṇāla, q.v.
