Paṇ chen VI Thub bstan chos kyi nyi ma (1883-1937)

Fuller name: Blo bzang thub bstan chos kyi nyi ma dge legs rnam rgyal.
He may be, especially in works emanating from Tibet or the PRC, counted as the Ninth Panchen Lama.

His autobiography was dated 1943, but it was not available until the second volume appeared (printed together with the earlier volume) in 1996. See the article by Fabienne Jagou contained in Cahiers d'Extrême Asie, vol. 15 (2005).
The Collected Works of the Sixth Panchen Lama Blo bzang thub bstan chos kyi nyi ma, "reproduced from a print from the Bkra shis lhun po Blocks by Lha mkhar Yongs 'dzin Bstan pa rgyal mtshan" (New Delhi 1974), in 4 volumes. His works fill 6 volumes in the "Collected Works of Panchen Lamas I-IX" (Lhasa), which has been scanned by TBRC (this includes the 2-volume biography, which was omitted from the Indian edition).
