Dictionary Definition: 

  • PPTK, pp. 349-350. 13 works by him are listed, all apparently belonging to the Bde mchog mkha' 'gro snyan brgyud teachings. The biographical sketch says he was born in the 15th century. He went toigether with his relative O rgyan bstan dar to study with Mnga' ris Paṇ chen Padma dbang rgyal, and composed this set of texts in an Iron Bird year when he was in his 32nd year.
  • This name appears in a scroll that was enclosed in a Guru Rinpoche image dated to about 18th century (the name of Brag dkar Bkra shis sdings occurs in the content as well, this being a monastery in Sikkim).
