A naked ascetic (gcer bu pa) named in the Śrīgupta Sūtra. Śrīgupta has great faith in him. He asks him to go kill Gautama, since he pretends to be omniscient... I believe the name means 'neighbor's [or acquaintance's] son.' The Sanskrit might be Jñātiputra or Bandhuputra (?).
