Nandipriya (Dga’ byed snyan pa)

Dictionary Definition:

  • Chimpa, THBI, p. 148 n. This would seem to place him in an early period, prior to Asaṅga, but note the discussion of the confusion about his dating.
  • Ldan dkar ma (Lalou no. 684) lists his Bstod pa brgya lnga bcu pa'i bshad pa.
  • See also Rāmapriya, another possible re-Sanskritization. The Tibetan form is the only one that actually appears in the sources.
