Nādhati [Sk. nādhate=nāthate (see nātha), only in nadhamāna, cp. RV x.65, 5: nādhas] to have need of, to be in want of (c. gen.) J v.90 (Com. expls by upatappati milāyati; thinking perhaps of nalo va chinno).
