Mtha’ bzhi Stong gsum gang ba

  • Originally, in the reign of Khri srong lde'u btsan, there were other foreign doctors from the 'four ends [of the earth],' but among them only Stong gsum gang ba, from China, stayed in Tibet and formed a lineage which continued to use the name Mtha' bzhi. Sde srid, Khog 'bugs, p. 175.
