Founder of the Ahmadiyya, a movement of Islamic origins, which believes that Jesus is identical to Maitreya, and that Jesus traveled to India and Tibet. He composed a book in Urdu, first published in 1908, telling how Jesus rather than being crucified and resurrected as the Christians believe, went to India and there later died a natural death after teaching the Buddhists a thing or two.
He wrote a book in 1899 in Urdu called 'Jesus in India.'
