Aka Gar Dam pa Chos sdings pa. Disciple of 'Jig rten mgon po.
TBRC gives him the dates 1192-1254, and the primary name Shākya dpal.
He had a disciple and nephew named O rgyan pa who composed his biography, which is a very important source for the period.
