• Guṇamitra is depicted in woodcut miniature at the head of Zhang zhung pa's Mahākāvya on the life of Rin chen bzang po. Miniature labelled as "'phags yul mkhas pa'i gtsug gi rgyan // paṇ chen gu ṇa mi tra'i zhabs //." He was the first main Sanskrit grammar teacher of Rin chen bzang po in Kashmir.
