Galenos (Ga le nos)

Dictionary Definition: 

  • Rechung, TM, p. 15. One of the three great doctors said to have been invited in early 7th century to the court of Srong btsan sgam po. He came from Persia, supposedly settle down with a Tibetan woman and had three sons, who spread his medical lineage in various parts of Tibet. See Chris Beckwith's paper.
