An ancient Indian sage (ṛṣi) who composed two texts (with 60 chapters total) commenting on the first and last halves of the Caraka medicine text. The first was called Stod 'grel nyi zla sbar bkag [spar khab?] and the 2nd Smad 'grel 'phrul gyi lde mig. Rechung, TM, p. 12.
