Dictionary Definition:

  • Mahāsiddha. Tibetan version of the name: Gnyis gcig tu byed pa. In Sanskrit: De banṭa (Devaṇṭa?), which means in Tibetan, Gnyis gcod zhabs. Biographical Dictionary of Tibet and Tibetan Buddhism, vol. 1, pp. 668-669. Perhaps Dukhandhipa is the correct spelling.
  • Dhukhantipā. No. 25 in Sempa Dorje. Illustration following p. 78. His name in Tibetan, Gnyis gcod zhabs. He was of the jamādāra caste, from Ghandhapura (Gandhapura?).
