Aka Dge slong Byang chub bzang po. Author of the most detailed account of the early life of Karma pa VIII, which covers his life up to age 8. This author also compiled a collection on the Ras chung snyan brgyud. This information is from a forthcoming paper by Jim Rheingans.
He was disciple and biographer of both Shar kha Ras chen and Kun dga' dar po.
Evidently he is the Rtogs ldan Byang chub bzang po who is given a birthdate of 1416 in the Yisun Chang dictionary chronology. This would mean he would not only have needed to have a lifespan of very nearly a century in length, but he would have written a biographical work at that age!
