(結跏) The Buddha's sitting posture with legs crossed and soles upward, left over right being the attitude for subduing demons, right over left for blessing, the hands being placed one above the other in similar order. Also, said to beparyaṅkabandha, orutkuṭukāsana, sitting on the hams like ascetics in meditation.
