The three states of mind or consciousness: 真識 the original unsullied consciousness or Mind, thetathāgatagarbha, the eighth orālaya阿賴耶識 ; 現識 mind or consciousness diversified in contact with or producing phenomena, good and evil; 分別識 consciousness discriminating and evolving the objects of the five senses.
