Bhuseti [Denom. fr. bhusa2=*bhṛśayati; but not certain, may have to be read bhūseti, to endeavour, cp. Sk. bhūṣati] to make strong, to cause to grow (?) Jv.218 (C. explns by "bhusaŋ karoti, vaḍḍheti" p. 224).
