duḥkhá mfn. (according to grammarians properly written duṣ-kha and said to be from dus and kha [cf. su-khá] ; but more probably a Prākritized form for duḥ-stha, q.v.) uneasy, uncomfortable, unpleasant, difficult R. Hariv. (compar. -tara MBh. R.)
