Paṇ chen Ye shes rtse mo (b. 1433)

Dictionary Definition: 

• Became 4th abbot of Bkra shis lhun po in 1487 and stepped down in 1510 (others say 1512). Dungkar Rinpoche's dictionary, pp. 1268-1269.
• Disciple of First Dalai Lama. It is said that when the Dalai Lama II came to visit Bkra shis lhun po, he was jealous of him and went to 'Bras spungs. Thuken, p. 281.
