Aka Shes rab ral gri, he belonged to the 'Ba' ra ba school. His biography written by Kun tu bzang mo (a woman author) has been noted in Kuijp, Authorship. It has the title Mkhas grub mon rdzong ras chen gyi rnam par thar pa ngo mtshar nor bu'i phreng ba dad pa'i mig 'byed, and has been published in Bka' brgyud gser phreng chen mo (Dehradun 1970), vol. 2.
