Gunapala Piyasena Malalasekera (1899-1973)

Dictionary Definition:

Born as George Peiris and sometimes referred to as George Percival. Founder and first president of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (his successor was U Cham Htoon). He was first editor of the Encyclopaedia of Buddhism.
