There is an entry about him in Dungkar Rinpoche's dictionary, p. 1663. His father was Gnubs A la la. His early teachers were mainly translators. He met Pha dam pa at Ding ri on his way to India. Hearing there was a famine in Nepal he turned back. He served as abbot of both Lo and Bya after the death of Bya yul ba.
