This is a general treatment of the five sciences, with some emphasis on the 'sound sciences' (sgra rig pa). The author's name might be Sanskritized as Kālapāda. He was a disciple of 'Brug pa Sangs rgyas rdo rje. Bod mkhas pa (b. 1618) was his disciple.
