Virūḍhaka. Known as Crystal king, and as 惡生王 Ill-born king. (1) A king of Kośala (son of Prasenajit), destroyer of Kapilavastu. (2) Ikṣvāku, father of the four founders of Kapilavastu. (3) One of the fourmahārājas, guardian of the south, king ofkumbhāṇḍas, worshipped in China as one of the twenty-fourdeva āryas; colour blue.
